This Privacy Policy describes how personal data is processed when using the website edulink.ee (hereinafter the “Website”, “EduLink”, “we”). We process data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, Regulation (EU) 2016/679) and the Personal Data Protection Act of the Republic of Estonia (Isikuandmete kaitse seadus).

4. Who we share data with
4.1. Partner training providers
EduLink’s core function is to forward your inquiry to the training provider you selected. By submitting an inquiry, you consent to the transfer of the data you provided (name, contacts, inquiry text) to the relevant training provider so that it can contact you.
Important: from the moment it receives your data, the training provider becomes an independent data controller and processes it for its own purposes (enrollment, counseling, provision of the educational service) under its own responsibility and in accordance with its own privacy policy. EduLink does not control and is not responsible for the further processing of data by the training provider.
If you do not have an active inquiry with a particular training provider, your personal contact details are not shared with that provider.
4.2. Service providers (data processors)
We engage third-party providers that process data on our behalf and only within our instructions:
- Website hosting — Zone Media OÜ (zone.ee), Estonia;
- Email and newsletter delivery — Zone Media OÜ (zone.ee), Estonia;
- Web analytics — Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC);
- Webmaster tools — Microsoft (Bing Webmaster Tools);
- Marketing and retargeting — Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited). [Activated when Meta advertising is launched; until then, no data is collected via Meta Pixel.]
Such providers are bound by data processing agreements compliant with GDPR requirements.
4.3. Other cases
We may disclose data where required by law or by a request from a competent public authority. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
5. Transfers of data outside the EU/EEA
Some of our service providers — in particular Google Analytics and Meta Pixel — may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the USA. In such cases, transfers are safeguarded by mechanisms provided for under GDPR: the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and the providers’ participation in the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
6. Data retention periods
We retain personal data no longer than necessary for the purposes of its processing:
- Inquiry data is retained for the duration of cooperation with the relevant training provider and for the period needed for reconciliation and invoicing, after which it is anonymized or deleted — as a rule, within 24 months of the inquiry being submitted;
- Accounting documents related to settlements are retained for the period established by Estonian law (generally 7 years);
- Newsletter data is retained until you withdraw your consent (unsubscribe);
- Technical and analytics data is retained for the validity period of the corresponding cookies (see Section 8).
7. Your rights
In relation to your personal data, you have the right to:
- access your data and learn how it is processed;
- rectify inaccurate or incomplete data;
- erase data (“right to be forgotten”) where there is no legal basis for retaining it;
- restrict processing in certain cases;
- object to processing based on legitimate interest;
- data portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format;
- withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.
To exercise your rights, write to us at info@revelan.eu. We will respond within the time frame set by GDPR (generally within one month).
If you believe your rights have been violated, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Estonian supervisory authority — the Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon): www.aki.ee, info@aki.ee.
8. Cookies
The Website uses cookies — small files stored in your browser. We use:
- necessary cookies — for the basic operation of the Website (no consent required);
- analytics and marketing cookies — Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, and similar tools; set only with your consent.
You can manage your consent via the cookie banner shown on your first visit, as well as change your browser settings.
9. Automated decision-making
We do not make decisions concerning you that produce legal or similarly significant effects based solely on automated processing. The course-selection tools on the Website are advisory in nature and do not replace your own choice.
10. Data security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data against unauthorized access, loss, and alteration: access restrictions, connection encryption (HTTPS), and regular system updates. No method of transmitting data over the internet can guarantee absolute security, but we strive to use generally accepted protective measures.
11. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The current version is always available on this page with the date of the last update indicated. In the event of significant changes, we will notify you by an appropriate means.
